An enchanting, cheerful and vibrant dance - never dull, with slow and fast movements, as it follows the music. It is a dance style grown from a combination of mainly the dance styles "Son" and "Mambo", and as long as one can count 123,567 - within anybody's reach.

Salsa Worldwide: Although salsa has originated in Cuba, Puerto Rico, (Mexico?) and New York, it is currently found all over the world. Since the 1960's, it is the Latin American dance style. Even though the styles may differ, the core of it stays the same and can be picked up fairly easily, enabling La Salsaners to salsa along in any Salsa (Latin American) dance klud in the world.
